So, I was asked to customize a pair of limited edition Dr. Martens 1461 3-Eye shoe, in celebration of Zouk’s 20th Anniversary and Dr. Marten’s #FIRSTANDFOREVER campaign. And can I just say, I had so much fun with this! It’s been so long since I last got my hands dirty with a craft project…
My shoes, along with 19 others (seriously cool customized kicks from seriously cool people), will be auctioned off here from 7 Oct to 14 Oct. 100% of the proceeds will go to Zouk’s adopted charity of 2011: Make-A-Wish Foundation ®. Also, the shoes, together with photographs shot by Ivanho Harlim, will be displayed at various locations for an ongoing exhibition at Zouk, Dr. Martens (Orchard Central), Blackmarket No.2, The Pigeonhole etc. Psst, remember to shop Lucyd Acyd if you do drop by Blackmarket No.2!
Giveaway! The ZOUK X DR. MARTENS #FIRST Exhibition is a by-invite-only exhibition event on October 7, 9pm, in Zouk. I have some invites to giveaway, so leave your email address and I’ll pick at random. Each invite admits 2 guests, club rules apply.
